West Country Scribes programme of Saturday workshops for 2025.
We offer a varied programme of workshops with tutors of high repute for all who wish to develop their calligraphy skills. Most workshops can cater for beginners to participate.

All workshops are held in Rockwell Green Village Hall, Popes Lane, Wellington, TA21 9BU
commencing at 10.00 am and finishing at 4.00pm.
On Untutored Practice Days we finish at 2.00 pm. (See Map)
Doors open at 9.30am and there is a break for lunch. Tea/coffee available to purchase, please bring your own lunch.
Membership fee 2025 remains £25, payable in January. (New members, joining later, proportional Fee)
Tutored Workshop fee is £30 for members, £40 for non-members (unless stated otherwise).
Practice Day and untutored Practice Day fee : £10 for all participants.
Untutored Practice Days are popular get-together days where we meet up, practice scripts or develop our own calligraphy projects, in company of other calligraphers who can offer support and exchange tips and ideas.
Booking is essential, as places are limited.
Members of West Country Scribes receive priority booking up to two weeks before the workshop, after which it will be opened to any non-members on our waiting list.
